Krill oil is also rich in phospholipids, which enhances mitochondrial function and choline – a powerful nutrient for the nervous system.

FAQ's
What is this formula for?
Krill oil is an excellent source of omega-3s. Unlike fish oil, it also provides several additional beneficial compounds, such as astaxanthin and choline.
Why should I take krill oil over fish oil?
Studies have shown that the omega-3s in krill oil are more bioavailable to cells than those in fish oil. Krill oil also contains a higher concentration of omega-3s, and they’re present in a different form—phospholipids rather than triacylglycerides—making them easier to integrate into cells. Choline is also an essential nutrient, and astaxanthin is a potent antioxidant.
Is the oil exposed to heat during production?
No, krill oil is extracted via a process that does not use any heat to preserve the omega-3 content.
How shelf-stable are the omega-3s in krill oil?
The omega-3s in krill oil have been shown to be more shelf-stable than those in fish oil. This is likely due to the naturally occurring vitamin E that’s present that prevents lipid oxidation.

Should I be worried about mercury in Krill oil?
